Dating is hard for one. Another thing is that you might not totally be over your wife despite anything that has happened. I’m certain it is going to take me forever to get into dating if my marriage fails.

Because you are still hurting. Instead of thinking of dating, just go out with friends and fave FUN. Think and love yourself first!

You are then trying too hard. It took me about 4 years of relative solitude (not solitary) to redefine my self and feel ready and confident to meet new people and find someone to love.

You have one part of you that wants a relationship and the other part that is still stinging from the divorce and isn’t ready to let that happen again. You just aren’t ready for a relationship just yet but if it goes on too much longer and you aren’t making any progress you might want to consult a therapist.
