What is a good place to go for a first date?
LSWHO??? asked:
Were in 7th grade, 13 years old. I just asked her out like 2 weeks ago and I’m not sure where to take her for our first actual date. Any suggestions?

Movies are a classic. They seem corny but it CAN be fun. Don’t try ‘the move’ yet though.

i would usually prohibit movies because you cant talk or anything, but at that age, i would definately recommend the movies. its like the 13 staple date place..
otherwise go to the beach or a semi-nice restaurant.

Well try something like an arcade where you can both interact with each other.

The tried and true dinner and a movie! But isn’t 7th grade kind of young. Guess ole mom wouldn’t care to much about the movies. There’s always inviting her over to hang out at the house. Or we use to go to the skating rink. If you live near the beach theres always that. Anyways, good luck!

bowling. you guys will have a good time, can talk the whole time, or if it gets awkward by any chance, just concentrate on the game. make it fun and place bets–loser has to do something for the other person, stuff liek that.
dont do movies though–thats the type of date if you dont want to talk at all lol.

Mini golf is excellent for young couples. That way you two are having fun while getting to know each other better. If that fails, there’s always the movies.

Dave Buster’s. Or any other place similar to that. It’s a restaurant that has a giant arcade attached to it.

I wouldn’t go to the movies. If it’s your first date, you’ll want to get to know each other more. You can’t talk during a movie, and I bet you’ll feel extremely restless.
Go bowling, or go-carting, or skating. Anywhere out to eat is nice too. Keep it casual.

Well since you guys are pretty young.
If you don’t want to make it uncomfortable you should go out with a group a friends that you both are comfortable with.
You should go somewhere you can talk to her and just hangout with her, maybe like an amusement park?

It’s always easy to go to a movie on a first date because there won’t be any awkward silences. The nervousness is bound to happen so the movie would be easier for the both of you. It’s nice to take a walk afterwards or grab a bite. Then you guys can really hit it off and talk. The good thing about going to the movie first is that you can talk about the movie as an ice breaker or if you guys don’t know what to talk about

Not the movies…. because in the dark you will get ideas about your pasty-white prepubescent bodies merging…..not roller skating… because once again, at that age you don’t really need the physical contact….have your parents take you to a nice diner or something and then take the girl home. Then ground you until you are at least 16 maybe 17.

Definitely movies, you don’t have to do much talking! but make sure is not a girly, or scary one.. action for sure! and eat pizza afterwards so you can chat about the flick, you can use your hands or cutlery and you don’t look like a slob.. haha! good luck!

i took my boy and the neighbor girl to the concert in the park. it wasn’t a date, (they’re 4) but it was free, many people were having fun and i saw lots of young couples just throw down a blanket and watch some good local band.

The Movies…
For one, it’s dark sooo….yeah. lolz
Secondly, time is mostly consumed watching the movie, which is good because if you guys are shy like me, you have less time talking.
Then after the movies, maybe consider dinner…others suggest pizza. Which is kinda tradition or old stuff. Maybe take her to…Applebee’s or Ruby Tuesdays. Red Lobster!
