For the dating men: How long would you wait to contact a woman who interests you after the first date?
lovelyeyes asked:
It has been almost two days since we last went out on our first date. I can tell we had chemistry because of the extensive cuddling up and little marks of affection such as holding hands. I already told him that I had a nice time at the end of the date and he told me he did too. What is taking him so long? Should I make a move?

I usually wait a couple of weeks and let them really sweat it out. (Unless she is ‘da bomb’ then I call the same night after
I drop her off)

I don’t know why people feel they have to play these games and wait a certain amount of time. Who started these rules? If you like him, call him, ask him to do something, if he says yes, great. If not, then you’ll know where you stand and you can move on.

I am not into games so I usually call the next day. If you are interested, then why not go out again or at least try? I think you have to wait another day or two in case he is the waiting type to call as you will look very agressive which might be a turnoff for him.

Make a move, show him that your interested, if he don’t respond, or if he stands you up, he’s probably scared or not into you.

If I had a good time, I might call you. I’d assume you would call me before I really had to call you. But, yeah, it could be anywhere between 1 and 3 weeks. 1 week seems pretty stalkerish to me. I want to make sure she knows that she has space. If 1 week is too long of a wait for her, oh well. No woman, no cry.
